Haydn GethinLEWISsadly and suddenly in hospital on Friday 1st September with his wife and children by his side, aged 63.

Much love husband of Janice, cherished Dad to Bethan, Caitlin and Oliver, father-in-law to Dylan and Damian, adored son of Iris and the late Haydn, brother to Eryl and brother-in-law to Mandy, Jason and Tim.

Gethin was a retired pharmacist in Bedwas and Trethomas and will be solely missed by all who knew him.

He will be resting at Caerphilly Funeral Services, Parc Avenue, Caerphilly until his funeral service on Tuesday 3rd October at 2pm at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium.

Please dress brightly to celebrate Gethin's life.

Following the service, you are welcome to join Gethin's family for light refreshments and to share your memories of Gethin at Manor Parc Hotel, Thornhill.

Family flowers only please.

Geth and I sat together through primary school in Abercraf and played rugby together for school and Abercraf youth. We walked the mountains, listened to music in the front room of his mam and dad's house. We swam in the river, he was even my co-driver when I learnt to drive. The holiday in Bournmouth with the boys was a brilliant laugh, even though we fell asleep on the train on the way home, took the wrong connection in Bristol and ended up back in Bournmouth. Always a friend, an inspiration and a joy to be with. Even though we went separate ways and saw little of each other in the inteveaning years, I'll miss you Geth.

A true gentleman who loved his sports cars back in the day. Enjoyed some great times with Geth and Jan. Will be sadly missed. Love to you all x

So so sad will truly miss Gethin, we enjoyed many times together and great chats. Neil particularly will miss their friendship wishing they had met earlier in life.
