Susan passed away peacefully on August 26th aged 63 years surrounded by her loving family after an illness handled with great courage and dignity.

A beloved wife of George, loving mam of Abbie and Kris, dearest sister of Alan, Gary, the late Ray and a very good friend to all who knew her.

She was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at South Shields Crematorium on Tuesday September 23rd at 11.15am. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to the Cancer Research Charity.

Colourful attire is most welcome.

All are welcome to the Gibside Hotel Front Street Whickham after the service to celebrate her life.

Today we said our final goodbye to this wonderful lady. The beautiful service was one to remember & her amazing family really did her proud. Lovely memories shared & an exacting tribute to the wonderful partner, mother, family member or friend to everyone who attended. Rest in peace Sue. Forever in our hearts 🩷

We first got to know Sue when we went on holiday with her and George to Australia in 2001.
Since then we have loved and admired her, for her way of tackling her challenges and also selflessly finding time to help others with theirs.
She was inspirational as a wife, mother and friend and was a “rock” for family and friends. Because of this, she leaves a “mountain” of love and treasured memories to help us all grieve.
Rest in peace, dear Sue.
Thank you for being a wonderful, caring and considerate sister in law and confidante.
You will be forever in our hearts and minds.
