Betty JeanLIGGINSPassed away peacefully at Wellfield Care Home on 9th July 2020, aged 95 years. Much loved and devoted wife of the late Joe Liggins. Mother to Anthony, Irene and Derek, Mother In Law to Marilyn, Jeffrey and Janet. Grandmother to Dawn, Dean, Samantha, Benjamin, Dana, Matthew, Jessica and Stephen. Great Grandmother to Damien, Austin, Tobias, Katie, Georgia, Luke, Jessica, Thomas and Mia. Sister to Audrey, Mary and Susan and four brothers, deceased. She was a much loved friend to many many people and will be sadly missed. Betty was a very active member of Woodnook Baptist Church and Christ Church Accrington. She enjoyed knitting, painting, baking, reading, going out for meals with her family and walks in the local parks. The family would like to thank all the staff at Wellfield Care Home for all the love and care shown to Betty during her time with them. Betty's Cremation will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 14:20.
