We miss you, dearest Babs (my pet name for her). The loveliest lady one could wish to meet. I have known her since she was 10 and I was 12. I still remember the "sleepover" with Babs and Valerie when we were young teenagers; big bro Jonathan had to come and tell us to stop making so much noise! Wonderful memories throughout the years... May you rest in eternal peace now that you have "paid your debt" to mankind by being with us during your lifetime. Lots of love from H n R xxx

Terry and I have been friends with Barbara since we were partnered for the Kent Teacher Exchange in 1989. Since then we have had great times together on both sides of the Atlantic. Barbara enriched our lives in many ways … music, art, laughter, and tours through the English countryside, to name a few. She was a terrific travel companion, and a wonderful friend. Even during her illness she inspired us with her thoughtfulness, her wonderful wit, her incredible vocabulary, and her love of life. We already miss our conversations, and deeply regret that we neglected to ask her for contact information for her loved ones, in order to have updates when she was unable to respond herself. We would very much appreciate a message from anyone who has been able to spend time with her recently.. jillianjohnston139@gmail.com
