I had the pleasure to become friends with Antony when we worked in Japan together. We were 2 gaijin in Japan, working on the same teaching programme, and socialised a lot. We were young, and crazy...I still remember him buying some sort of gun to shoot the large Japanese cockroaches with. He had a great sense of humour, and we shared an awful lot of laughs over the year and got on famously. I am so so sorry to hear that he has passed, way too soon

I’m truly sorry to hear the sad news of Anthony. I have only recently been told as was such a shock. Anthony was truly a great friend to many with an infectious sense of humour. I will always remember the fun shared at both St Peters School and Lindsey School and the many laughs we shared. He will be remembered fondly and always. Rest in peace Anthony. School friend Adam Johnson.

I am so very sorry to read this, Antony and I had many a sarcastic banter battle at Lindsey school which I always looked forward to. He was quick witted, funny and very bright. My sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace. X Helen Smith
