Jacqueline AmandaLINTONLINTON Jacqueline, Amanda, Nicola and family would like to sincerely thank all friends, family, neighbours, colleagues and everyone who has loyally supported them throughout Melissa's illness and for all the beautiful floral tributes and cards received at this sombre time. Melissa remained resilient throughout her battle which was partly due to the excellent care she received. Firstly, thanks to Mr Mathieson and staff at the Southern General Hospital. Also, heartfelt thanks to Dr. Venugopal, Mr Oades and staff at the Beatson. In addition, Melissa was continuously supported by Julie Cain, Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Nurse and Siobhan from Click Sargent. Dr. Irvine, District Nurses and staff at Old Irvine Road Practice remained unremittingly attentive, thank you. Melissa's arduous journey also took her down to Bobby Robson Unit, Freemans Hospital, Newcastle. We are very thankful for that opportunity and care given there. Melissa's last few weeks were spent in the loving care of ward 3A Crosshouse Hospital where she received outstanding attention and comfort. Thank you to the wonderful staff who looked after our courageous daughter and sister. Special thanks go to Very Rev. Dr. David W. Lacy for the perfect service, to all who attended Kay Park Parish Church and Portland Funeral Services. Lastly, a magnificent total of £1104 collected at the church will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. Thanks to everyone for their generosity.
