LIONEL HORSNELL(Our Local Artist) 1932 - 2011 Lionel finally passed away peacefully on 28/11/2011. Funeral service to take place at Harwood Park Crematorium, Watton Road, Stevenage on Thursday, 15th December 2011 at 3.30 pm. I met Lionel in the Brown cow in Clitheroe Lancashire a lovely genuine person, he painted a scene of Brungerley Bridge for me which I love & have it hanging pride of place on the wall,I also purchased a painting he did of Bashall Town which is really nice, God bless Lionel.

I'm an ordinary working guy from the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, I met Lionel in the Brown Cow inn Clitheroe, he was a lovely interesting man & he left a warm and interesting impression on me. I commissioned two paintings one of Brungerly Bridge Clitheroe and one of Bashall old town in the Ribble Valley which I cherish to this day.
