As a former Director of Plymouth Argyle, I worked closely with Graham for many years in the 1970's and 80's. His outgoing, sincere and generous personality touched everybody that he dealt with. He managed to cope with all the stresses of running a Football Club by a combination of hard work, integrity, honesty, and a great sense of humour. His experience in dealing with Football matters for so many years made him an invaluable asset to the Club. I enjoyed his company both at work and on the many social occasions that we shared and will sadly miss him. My thoughts and prayers go to Irene and her family.
RIP Graham.

With my late husband Alan , I was a season ticket holder and vice president club member during Graham's tenure as Plymouth Argyle secretary and we saw him and chatted at most home games and social events where we also met Irene. They were a lovely couple.
Graham was always friendly, gentlemanly, polite and had a good sense of humour. Along with all that he was excellent at his job and helped us out on a number of occasions such as when I left my season ticket in the pocket of my green Argyle dress and put it in the wash!! What resulted was a mash of paper and it was only a couple of matches in to the season!! I was distraught but when we told Graham he said that it was the laugh of the office that day and quickly issued me with a new one with no problem at all.
God bless you Graham and condolences to Irene and family. I doubt that Irene will remember me but I am thinking of her.
