I only ever knew Lee from all the gyms over the years. We often chatted. He always made a point of saying hello when he was busy and when he had time he always came over for a chat. He was more often than not with his training partner and great friend Mark, who also always also said hello. We spoke often even though I was just a face at the gym. Lee always, always had the biggest smile. When I heard the news I was genuinely gutted. Really shocked. His legacy isn't his physique or the massive weights that he lifted. His legacy is that he truly touched the hearts of so, so many people that were just gym faces and that says it all about this truly wonderful man. To be able to treat every gym face as a long lost friend is something that if we all had it, like Lee, the world really would be a far, far better place xxcc
