Tom & Megan were great friends of my Uncle Dick Morgan who was a schoolmaster at Repton, Derbyshire. When I told him I was going Youth Hosteling in the Brecon Beacons he said I must call on the Llewellyns of Ystradfellte because we are related. Apparently, Tom Morgan’s father, Morgan William Llewellyn, Churchwarden of Ystradfellte for 53 years met my grandfather, The Revd Canon Morgan Brinley Morgan, in the New Inn after a funeral, and got chatting and worked out that they were related to each other and to Sir Harry Llewellyn whose horse, Foxhunter, won a Gold Medal at the 1952 Helsinki Olympics.
