I have only just learned of Peter Lloyd Harvey's passing. I knew him only slightly from visits to Llywernog, when I was happy to pass on a few mining relics and items of paperwork. From the earliest days of the museum he was always willing to share his wide knowledge of and his passion for the preservation of mining history. A conversation with Peter was always an inspiration.
