MarkLLOYDMark of Scarisbrick passed away suddenly at Aintree Hospital on the 14th January aged 57 years. Loving Son of John and Julie, devoted father to Leanne. Mark was one of a kind. You knew if you were on board and one of the crew, or told without hesitation when you were wrong. Mark was a talented carpenter and many lives have been touched by the chap who had slippers at the ready to work in your house - no brew needed, totally independent to the end. Scarisbrick marina was made home for Mark living his life with the love of the outdoors. He was a much loved and respected member of the community and will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends that became like family. Funeral service and interment to be held at St Marks Church, Scarisbrick on Monday 13th February 2023 at 1pm. The funeral cortege will depart from Scarisbrick marina at 12.50pm. Traditional funeral attire would be appreciated, however your presence will be welcomed more. Family flowers only, however donations if desired in lieu of flowers being collected for The donkey Sanctuary or The RSPB. Everyone is warmly invited to join the family with Jim and his hospitality at Master McGraths for a pint of Guinness or a brew and share memories of Mark. Arrangements supported by The Newland Family All enquiries to Southport Funeral Care Ltd Independent Funeral Directors 25/27 Shakespeare Street, Southport, PR8 5AB Tel 01704 547274

Going to miss you bud a loyal friend with a heart of gold. A true gentleman old school and salt of the earth.
Working along side you for almost 20 years there’s carpenters then there was you a whole different level.
Nothing that you didn’t know.
And I will cherish all them memories especially the most recent ones. Just before Christmas at our house. That you helped make a home.
You was so proud of the gable I built complimenting your traditional roof,
Which was perfect as always.
I’ll hold that pat on the back very tight and take it forward with me forever.
Gone but never forgotten. Big love mark 🕯️RIP🕯️fella
Going to miss you mr Lloyd

No words to describe your loss Mark, you were a great friend who I knew would always drop everything to help if I needed. Amazing sense of humour and a rock n roll legend when heavy metal came on . Miss you
