The obituary notice of Wendy Lola LLOYD

My mother and me were good friends of Wendy when she was at Ashe Hall School 70 years ago the Boarding School was for children with health problems. My Mother worked as a Domestic and said she wished she had a daughter like Wendy.

My beautiful Aunty Wendy. Although we didn't live near you, every time we saw you, you welcomed us in with open arms and made us feel special and as if we belonged. My dad could be, at times, a difficult man but he was resolute in his opinion of you as a loving sister who was always there for him and supported him constantly. He spoke so fondly of uncle Mo too, it is comforting to think of you reunited again. When my dad was in his final weeks and days you supported us and helped us through those difficult days. We will miss you so very much. Good night my favourite Aunty, love you so much ❤️ xxx
