DerekLOFTHOUSEPassed away peacefully on May 5th at Poplars Care Home, following a short period of illness, surrounded by his loving family, Derek, aged 89 years.
Devoted and loving Husband to the late Norma.
Dearly loved father of Richard, Craig, Darren and Garry, and special father-in-law of Julie, Rachel, Jane and Lindsay.
Loving grandad of Chris, Beth, Nick, Connor, Charlotte, Ashleigh, Josh, Gabby and Big Grandad of Katy.
Also a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend.
We little knew that morning, God was to call your name. In life we loved you dearly and in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us with beautiful memories. Your love remains our guide. And though we cannot see you, You're always by our side.
Would family and friends please meet for service at St Marks Church, Thornaby on Wednesday May 27th at 10.30am followed by burial in Thornaby Cemetery.
