ColinLONGWORTHMr Colin Longworth of Hill View Rawtenstall, after giving up his long fight with cancer, died at Pendleside Hospice, Burnley on Sunday 5th June aged 80. Colin was a retired painter and decorator. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Sue, his daughters Zoe and Lisa, their husbands and three grandchildren. His funeral will be held at 2.30pm on Tuesday 21st June at Burnley Crematorium, which will be led by Mr. Brian Williams. Colin’s family would like to thank Ilex View Medical Practice, the district and Macmillan nurses and all the many friends at Kay Street Baptist Church. Special thanks to Pendleside Hospice who cared for him so lovingly during his final hours.
