Patrick ThomasLORD CORMACK DL FSAOn Sunday the 25th of February, Patrick, Lord Cormack died unexpectedly, aged 84 years.

Much loved husband to Lady Cormack (Mary) and father to Charles and Richard.

Born in Grimsby; Member of Parliament for Cannock (1970-1974) and South Staffordshire (1974-2010) and a Life Peer in the House of Lords from 2010. Member of the General Synod of the Church of England (1995-2005) and Deputy High Steward of Lincoln Cathedral. Committed Christian; Dedicated Parliamentarian and Devoted Family Man.

Funeral Service to take place at Lincoln Cathedral on Monday the 25th of March at 2pm and afterwards at The Chapter House.

No flowers. Donations are invited to raise money for the Lincoln Diocesan Trust and Board of Finance, marked 'Open Churches Trust'. Donations may be left after the service in the donations box provided.

Its been a great pleasure having Patrick in Lincoln for his short retirement. We should all feel grateful for his hard work for the Arts, especially in rescuing the Usher Gallery. A Good Man.
