MarkLORDMr Mark Edward Lord, of Branch Street, Stacksteads, Bacup, died on Saturday, January 22. Mark worked as a warehouse operative at Bacup Shoe Co Ltd from leaving school, until being made redundant. He was a member of Bacup Borough Football Club and Bacup Cricket Club, and also supported Leeds United. Mark leaves several cousins and many friends. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, February 10 at 1.45pm at Burnley Crematorium, with celebrant Neil Overton. The cortege will leave Knight and Boys Funeral Home, Stacksteads at 1.10pm. Family flowers only please; donations to Bacup Borough Football Club and Bacup Cricket Club to provide benches at each ground in Mark’s memory.
