Diana FrancesLORDIt is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Mrs Diana Frances Lord (nee Pannell), born on 7th November 1940 in Chichester and passed away on Monday 18th September 2023, following a short battle with lung cancer.
Diana spent the last month of her life being cared for by staff at Hurstead House residential home, Halifax Road Rochdale, where she received excellent care, and passed away peacefully.
She is survived by her Husband of 62 years Mr Geoffrey Lord, Sisters Sally and Barbara, Sons Andrew and Mark, Grandchildren Jenna, Sam, Ella, Mia, Emma, Aron and Freya, and Great Grandchild Max.
The funeral will take place at Rochdale Crematorium Tuesday 10th October at 3.20pm where donations will go to 'friends of the residents of Hurstead House.'
