ColinLORDMr Colin Lord of Alder Street, Bacup died in Lillibet Manor Nursing Home, Crawshawbooth
on Tuesday, February 6, aged 70 years.
A service will be held at the Chapel of Rest on Tuesday, February 20 at 1.45pm followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 2.30pm, conducted by Ms Gemma Rooke.
Born in Bacup where he lived all of his life,
Colin attended St Mary’s RC Primary school
and St Theodore's School in Burnley.
He was a prolific footballer and won the Lancashire Schoolboys Under 16s competition and later signed up for Bolton Wanderers.
He enjoyed socialising, horse racing and particularly arguing with people! He leaves his brothers John, Stephen, Ian and Andrew and their wives, nephews, nieces and many friends.
