The obituary notice of Penny LOVE (DAWSON)

My heart goes out to you all during this incredibly difficult time. Penny will be remembered for her kindness and the light she brought to those around her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Penny in the same department and always valued the time I spent talking with her. She was a truly lovely woman, and her passing has had a significant impact on all the staff who had the privilege of working alongside her. She will be greatly missed.

I've always felt that the Dawson family was as an extension of my own family. There's a reason why I feel that because, whilst I regard Penny's brother, Paul, as a close friend the whole family are always so inviting and welcoming and they always have been. So, you can imagine how devastating it was to hear of dear Pen's passing. I didn't see her that much, especially since she moved away from Hanham, but when I did we'd always have a great natter, seemed very much to be kindred spirits and would always try and put the world to rights. I pray for Penny and all the family and very much hope they gain strength from friends and family over the coming difficult days. Love, David.

It is with great shock and sadness that we receive this news. Although I hadn’t seen Penny for a long time, we always kept in touch after I left Bristol. We met in hospital, as we both gave birth on the same day. We shared the early times with our children, and my son and I have cherished memories of Penny and Millie. In particular, we remember them visiting us in Derby after our move. Rest in peace. Hanh, James and David
