Bryan was a key supporter of the campaigns to protect Bengeo Field and the community has hugely benefitted from his expertise and commitment. His geological knowledge was invaluable to Stop Bengeo Quarry campaign and he continued to provide advice throughout Save Bengeo Field campaign. We have been honoured and so grateful for all his support, wisdom, and generosity.
Our deepest sympathies go to Carol and the family. We have all lost a very dear friend.

Bryan was a highly respected and valued member of the Bengeo Community for his commitment to the environment , his authoritative knowledge of geology and his determination to warn the authorities of the dangers to the water supply caused by developers plans. He was influential as a key part of the group that succeeded in winning a large 11day planning appeal to stop the building of a quarry that would have been very detrimental to the environment. He was always kind and thoughtful and admired for courageously attending the planning events in spite of his illness. He will be missed by us all.
