Paul EdwardLOVELUCKIt is with great sadness that the family of Paul Loveluck announce his passing at his home in Montgomery on 31st January age 81.
Devoted husband of the late and much loved Lynne, proud father of Christopher and Ruth, much loved of son-in-law Lawrence and daughter-in-law Anna, loving grandfather of Bronwen, Eleri, Grace and Michael, of great-grandson Levi and of step-granddaughter Niobe and faithful brother to sister Ann.
Paul was a public servant for over 50 years, beginning in the Board of Trade in Whitehall before returning to Wales to join the then newly established Welsh Office. He subsequently served as Chief Executive of both the Wales Tourist Board and then the Countryside Council for Wales and on a number of charities and advisory bodies. Upon his retirement from executive roles, he was appointed President of the National Museum of Wales, where he served until 2011, and a member of the Parliamentary Boundary Commission for Wales from 2011 to 2020. He was a magistrate for 30 years in Cardiff and Montgomeryshire. He dedicated his life to serving the needs of others in his family, community and country.
