WilliamLOWEOn 11th June 2022, suddenly at home. Bill, aged 82 and of Clifton. Much loved brother of the Late Harry, beloved Uncle and Cousin, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Service to be held on Monday 11th July 2022 at 2:20pm at Agecroft Crematorium. Donations if desired to Swinton Lions Supporters Trust. All enquiries to JR Barlow Funeralcare, Pendlebury. Spent many happy hours with Bill at Old Trafford Cricket ground watching Lancashire and Test matches. We lost touch once I'd moved to Wales, but we'd exchange Xmas cards, with a catch-up message...ALWAYS about sport (or Lonnie Donegan!!). So sad you've gone Bill...you'll be sadly missed.

Billy was a very special person, probably the best goalkeeper to never play pro football and an outstanding cricketer as a wicketkeeper batsman.
An honour to be a friend and teammate.
