MadgeLOWRYMadge Lowry, of Lon Menai, Birchgrove, Swansea, formerly of Mansel Street, Briton Ferry and Cimla Crescent, Cimla, Neath, died peacefully in Hengoed Court Care Home on 17 March, aged 96.

Loving mother and grandmother. Teacher for many years, mainly at Coedffranc Primary School, Skewen.

Funeral at Swansea Crematorium in Morriston, Swansea at 11.00 on Thursday 3rd April.

No flowers please except for close family. Donations to Save the Children.

A truly interesting and lovely lady who’s company I enjoyed greatly when I was a student nurse on the ward she was on last year. I loved hearing her wonderful stories!

Aw such sad news, I visited Madge each week as being a support worker for ACWG, very lovely lady, always so welcoming and house proud. She would always insist on Giving me a kit kat each time I left as her thank you.
RIP Madge- wonderful lady x
