A private family service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 5th January 2021 at 12 noon. Just found out Christine after I went to contact you for a catch up. Gutted. You were a wonderful woman, with a big heart and a wicked sense of humour. Meeting you in 2005 through Cats Protection and the No Nads van was the best thing I got from that job and I will never forget our chats and your gentle northern lilt, the embarrassment when the CP van fixer found the cat o nine tails you lent me for the fancy dress competition 😂, or the part you played in liberating the Edinburgh Two. Rest in peace Miss Sexy Hair xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I only knew Christine from the Richard Armitage fandom. She was a sparkly, friendly, fun-loving and welcoming person. We only spoke privately a few times and I was looking forward to meeting her one day. I'm so sorry that won't happen now and can't imagine your loss.

I was a work colleague of Christine's at Northumbria University. We had some good banter and I was invited over for evening meals several times. Christine loved cooking and the food was always good. These are my fond memories of her, though latterly contact ceased which was very sad.
