Husband to Morar for 58 years; father of Edward, Helen, Richard and Deborah; grandfather to Johnny, Hugo, Helena, Antonia, Daniel and Izzy. Fellow of Merton College Oxford; author of 19 books, on philosophy, politics, mathematics and theology. The funeral service will be held privately and a memorial service will be arranged later in the year.
