AlanLUKE(Blyth) Peacefully on 31st January 2024, aged 79 years.

Alan, dearly loved husband of Adrienne, beloved father of David and Anthony, dear father-in-law of Mandy and Jane, and a much loved grandfather of Jacob, Millie, Gareth, Alistair and Catrina.

Funeral service to be held at St Cuthbert's Church, Blyth on Wednesday 28th February at 11am followed by private family only interment at Blyth (the Links) Cemetery. Friends please meet at the Church.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired may be made for the Alzheimer's Society. A donation box will be available at the Church.

His name was Alan my father in law. Lived in Blyth but Belington before. Served the community in many ways, for the role he played there's not enough praise. A kind and handsome, gentle soul, he would do the recci for the walkers stroll.
Torn between pit history, he was fair and square, no trickery.
He found his girl at the local pics, missing his bus turned into a trick. Running home meant 62 years, that alone deserves lots of cheers.
Football chants at Blyth and Newcastle, away matches with Dave they avoided the hassle.
When I first met him he had a beautiful smile, he was more than happy for me to stay a while. I thank him always for being a role model dad, it's made my husband into a decent lad. He's now not here as he got his wings, the pain of our loss, well it truly stings.
