A thoroughly modern woman who graduated from Cardiff University at a time when few women did, she went on to have a long and fulfilling career as a social worker. She was a very sociable lady who loved entertaining and being entertained. She also loved ballroom dancing, and watching Strictly, and in later life enjoyed line-dancing into her 70’s. She leaves behind 3 children, 9 grand-children and 8 great-grandchildren who will miss very much her quiet support, beautiful knitting, and her wisdom. *** Funeral Service to be held at Exeter Crematorium, Topsham Road EX2 6EU on Friday 27 May at 1.00pm. Followed by a social gathering for family and friends from 2.00pm at The Mill on the Exe, Bonhay Road EX4 3AB Family flowers only please.
