MaryMACKAYMary Flannigan MacKay, from complications due to Covid. None of us were ready for you to leave us and we are all devastated and heartbroken. Dearly loved daughter and fiercly loyal sister. Mary was also the beloved wife of Ronald Spence MacKay for over 40 years. Her 'boys', David, Ronald, Andrew and Stuart were her pride and joy; raising them all to be the kind and loving men they are today. Aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, she loved us all. When we were in need, she wouldn't stop at giving us the shirt from her back, she would make sure you had a wardrobe, and a washing machine and arrange for some shopping. Devoted member of the Salvation Army, champion of the disabled, Mary was charitability and kindness to her very soul. Unable see negativity, never judgmental, Mary would spring into action the moment you needed her. She loved fun and laughing. She loved holidays and home. Mostly though, she loved us, and we loved her. We will miss you forever Ma

Mrs MacKay.. always commonly known to me as Ronnie's Mum.. many a visit to the MacKay residence especially in my younger years and to say she was a saint is hardly fitting. I've never known such a kind woman and likely never will again. Very dearly loved by all who had the blessing to know her, her smiling face and kind heart will be missed by all xx

Mrs Mackay was my mums friend when we were kids in Drumchapel. I loved going up to the Mackay home and sometimes babysat the younger boys (and sometimes just to hang around with the older boys). A lovely lady who will be so missed xxxx
