ElizabethMACLACHLANWe are sad to announce the passing of Elizabeth Maclachlan, formerly of George Street, Dumfries.

Elizabeth died peacefully aged 83 years on the 22nd November in Queensberry Care Home, and is survived by her husband Kenneth Maclachlan MBE, her daughter Carolyn, and step-daughters Margaret and Anne.

Beloved wife, mother, and friend, she will be remembered with warmth and joy by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

"It isn't what we leave behind, it's what we leave in people's hearts that counts."

The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.

Dearest Elizabeth your warm and welcoming smile will be missed so much. Although I am in the USA and did not visit as often as I would like to have liked I so enjoyed our visits together, especially our chats about doggies! Rest in peace now, your niece Vivienne
