MagdalenaMACLELLANLena MacLellan: Peacefully passed away on Tuesday 11th January 2022 aged 88 years. Lena (wife of late Angus) will forever be remembered for her love of music. She taught violin to thousands of children in the North East and was a true entertainer. A funeral service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Tuesday 8th February at 11.15am. Co-op Funeralcare Blaydon NE21-4JJ

Lena was my violin teacher from the age of 7 and she took me on a fantastic journey through my musical life for years and years, folk clubs, orchestra on a weekend, lessons in school and at my home, she took me to shows and competitions and was involved every step of the way. I'll miss her incredibly so, she has helped mould me into the man i am today. I cant thank her enough for her dedication to me throughout my life, A truly fantastic woman who I know will be missed by many, Rest in peace Lena, I miss you and love you. Matthew
