NoraMAGILLOn June 19th at 7:49pm, Nora sadly passed away at home in Blackley, surrounded by a loving family and fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church aged 83 years. Nora will be deeply missed by her heartbroken, devoted and loving husband Jimmy, her cherished and dearly loved Daughters Martina and Louise, and Son James, who are lost without her. Also her adored and treasured Grandson Matthew. Nora was a loved Sister, Sister-in-law and Auntie Nonie to many (including Delia's girls who were more like daughters to her). She was a dear friend and ex-colleague of so many who thought the world of her. Think of the special woman she was and always remember the happiness she brought wherever she went. On Monday July 10th Nora will be received into the Catholic Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Old Road, Blackley, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am and laid to rest at St Joseph's Cemetery, Moston. Flowers (or donations to Dementia UK) can be sent via Michael Kennedy. All further enquiries please call Michael Kennedy personally at Greater Manchester Funeral Service Moston on 0161 681 1864

I met Nora over 35 years ago when I became close friends with her Daughter Martina. I will always remember the first time I walked into her home.... Her huge smile and that recognisable Irish voice.... "lovely to meet you, can I get you something to eat. A bacon buttie? '..... And that was it I loved her like my own Mum... No one oozed love, warmth and kindness like Nora. But for those that knew her well know that she was a strong woman, hard working and very very funny (without knowing it) I had the pleasure of going to a family wedding in Ireland with Nora and her family... It was one of this weekends I will never forget and a treasured memory of Nora.

My thoughts are with Jimmy, Martina, Louise, James, Matthew and all the extended family at this time but I hope they take strength from each other and more importantly from how loved she was by many many people.

Sleep tight Irish Angel
LOVE ALWAYS
