To our Volunteering Vonny!!

When you weren’t off on your travels, which you so loved !!

You would pile up at “Lavender Mill” roll up your sleeves( in true vonny style) and get stuck in by helping us to support our elderly clients ensuring they had a wonderful and fun day with us.
Out came the chess board and many other games where you would sit patiently and play with them which they thoroughly loved of course.
At the end of the day, there you were helping to pack tables and chairs away, there was no stopping you of course

We’re so very sad that we won’t see you again, but no one can erase our memories of you, thats a fact .
Thank you for your help, kindness and most of all the laughs.

On a personal note!!
I know, we both felt incredibly blessed to share such beautiful grandchildren,
You were incredibly proud of all of your family Vonny as they are of you.
Gone far too soon, but you have left the most amazing legacy for them all and everyone else who’s lives you have touched
Like everyone i’m so incredibly sad that you have gone, it doesn’t seem possible, but you will never be forgotten that’s a given.
Although, you can never be replaced, i’ll do my best to look after our little people for us both.

From one Nanny to another

Dear Trevor, Hayley, Rach & family.
Hattie and I were so saddened to hear the news.

The email was such a lovely tribute and is Yvonne to a “T”.

When Hattie was young we once received a handout from Yvonne Makins and Hattie asked who that was as she had always thought Yvonne’s surname was Trevonne, so
has always been known as Yvonne Trevonne in our house.
