I'm so proud to have got to know Muriel and only wish I had met her many years earlier in life. Such a spirited, young at heart, funny, warm and kind soul, who will be sorely missed by her beautiful family, all of whom treasured Muriel dearly. Sending love and prayers to all the family at what is a heartbreaking time for them. My memories of your wonderful Mum and Nana will never leave me - what a lady! Rest easy now, lassie. All my love, Vivien xx

Living next door to you was a joy Muriel. You were always there for me when many weren't. My girls used to disappear from the house round to your cottage to play dolls. Rebecca called you Ariel after the little mermaid and one day asked me if you were a mermaid. I said "No, Muriel isnt a mermaid, she is an Angel" Love Colin, Emma and Rebecca xx
