Karen MarieMANLEYOn 17th September 2023 Peacefully fell asleep with her family by her side. Aged 57 years. Beloved daughter of Alice and the late Ted. Loving sister of Maria, Cherished partner to John, Sister in Law of Ivan, Auntie to Gemma, Great Auntie to Olivia. Requiem Mass to take place at St. Josephs R.C. Church, 40 York Road, Birkdale, PR8 2AY on Wednesday 11th October at 11.30am. Followed by the committal at West Lancashire Crematorium. Family flowers only by request Donations if so desired can be made to Cancer Research UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. Karen & I worked together for many years & I was very sorry to hear of her passing - she was bubbly intelligent & caring -she was very enthusiastic about doing the Licensing work at Court & was very well respected by the Police The Fire& Local Authority The Solicitors & Barristers The Licensees & of course The Magistrates for her knowledge & fairness .
I did see her recently at a couple of work reunions & we chatted about the good old days
She will be sadly missed

My family and I are deeply saddened to learn today about the loss of Karen.
To quote Helen Keller:
“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.”
Karen, we may no longer be able to see or touch you, but we will feel you, because Karen, in your own unique way, you touched all our hearts.
May you now rest in peace xxx
