MarjorieMANNIONMrs Marjorie Mannion, of Factory Street. Ramsbottom, formerly of Hillside Drive, Newchurch, died on Wednesday, June 30, aged 87. Marjorie was a school cook for Cheshire Education Authority until her retirement, when she moved to Newchurch. Marjorie loved travelling, socialising, and spending time with her family. Until her later years she was a keen gardener. Marjorie was a member of several clubs, including the Young at Heart Club in Newchurch, and the WI. Marjorie was the widow of Chris Mannion. She had three children, Anne, Christopher and Paul. She has six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 11.40am at Accrington Crematorium, led by Father Lupton. Family flowers only; donations to British Heart Foundation or Dementia UK.
