My heartfelt sympathy to Jane’s family and friends. I worked with Jane at the old GGBC in the 80s and then later at NELC. Such a shock and a sad loss for us all. I can hear her voice now always calm and reassuring. Always kind and funny. My goodness she will be missed.

I first met Jane at age uk when she and Neil wheeler organised a soft ball activity. Jane told me about Tuesday afternoons at New Waltham village hall playing carpet bowls. Jane also was involved with green futures and indoor and outdoor bowls. I found her to be lively welcoming and like a mother hen keeping everyone filled with her care and love. I feel blessed and privileged that I was able to get to know such a lovely selfless lady with a big heart and she will always be remembered very fondly. Suzy Baker xx
