Peacefully in St Bede's Hospice with family around on Thursday 7th December 2023, aged 33 years.

Beloved beautiful daughter of Richard & Susan, much loved special sister to Samantha and dog Harvey, sister-in-law to Kieron, devoted auntie to Maisie Katie. Treasured and devoted mum to dog Drogo. Special niece, cousin & good friend to many, especially Emily. Katie was much loved and will be sorely missed by all of her special family & friends. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for any donations please made to Macmillan Cancer Support. Please meet for service at St John's Church, Greenside on Tuesday 19th December at 12noon, followed by a private burial at Greenside Cemetery. All invited afterwards to celebrate Katie's life to Ryton Rugby Club.

Happy Heavenly Birthday Katie!
I know we drifted apart after I left IKEA, but you'll always have been one of my best friends through some tough times and plenty of fun times!!! I'll never forget our trips to York, getting stranded in DFS carpark when Henry's battery died, and bleaching our hair together and dying it all colours under the sun.
There are so many happy memories and great photos, I'll never forget you Katieheads!
