Rodney DavidMARGARSON(Rod) It is with great sadness to announce that Rod aged 71 years passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday 27th August 2019 at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital with his loving family by his side. Much loved and adored husband to Denise. Devoted and respected dad to Chris. Rod was also a much loved and respected man and his sense of humour, no matter how good, bad or repetitive it was, will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Rod's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 13th September at 1pm. By request, family flowers only, but donations in Rod's memory can either be made to The Blue Cross or RNLI. All enquiries to: J. W. Emberson Funeral Directors, 81 Macaulay Street, Grimsby. I have known Chris since we were young children and my family became very close to the Margarsons. We have shared many fantastic experiences with them; holidays, fishing and in particular shooting. Without Rod I would have never had the opportunity to try this sport- so I am forever grateful. As I grew up Rod became a good friend. He was a extremely funny, generous and an inspiration to me. Rod I believe knowing you has significantly contributed to the person I am today. Thank-you.
