CarolMARSDENof Jubilee Court, Haslingden, passed away on Monday, January 6, at Pendleside Hospice, aged 68. Carol was employed in the textile industry, with many years spent at Scapa Porritts and later Smith and Nephews before early retirement 21 years ago, due to ill health. She enjoyed sewing, raising money for various charities, car booting and socialising with her family and friends. Born in Rawtenstall, she lived all her life in Haslingden and Rawtenstall. Partner of John she leaves children Lee, Lindsay, Christian and Matthew and their partners Louise, Michael, Tony and Hayley, together with grandchildren Chloe, Oliver, Lacey, Leo, Caitlin, M.J., Summer, Charlie and Alfie and Georgia and Reece. A service took place on Tuesday, January 21, at Fred Hamers, followed by cremation at Accrington Crematorium, administered by Kathy Unsworth.
