PeterMARSDENof Cobden House, Hareholme, passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Saturday, December 5, aged 52. Pete, as he was known, lived in Rossendale his whole life and worked at Winfield Engineering for the last 26 years. He loved and rode motorbikes since he was a young lad, and always had some project on the go, as he was creative and inventive and just loved to make things. He leaves behind his partner Gayle, children Ashley, Jade and Simon, and a huge extended family and a multitude of friends who all loved Pete. His funeral will take place at 12.15pm on Monday, December 21, when Mr Damien Philips will conduct a Celebration of Life Service and committal at Burnley Crematorium. Due to the Government guidelines on the limited numbers allowed at Pete’s funeral, there will be a live webcast of his funeral on the day.
