Alfred BasilMARSDENOn Wednesday 20th July, passed away peacefully in Fairfield hospital aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Barbara. A much-loved dad of Nigel and Stuart. Loving grandfather to Claire, Adam, Tom, Josh, Rachel, Rhianna and Dale. A very special great grandfather to Olivia, Alfie, Pippa, Freya and Billy. Dear father-in-law to Debbie, Gill and Kathy. Enthusiastic about everything in life a wonderful influence on us all. Friend to many who will be sadly missed especially those from Rochdale Rugby Union Club. Cared for us all and forever in our memories. The funeral service will take place on Friday 5th August 1.40pm at Rochdale Crematorium. Family flowers only please .
