EileenMARSHMrs Eileen Marsh, of Haslingden Old Road, and latterly of Hillview Care Home, died at Hillview Care Home on Thursday, November 12, aged 88 years. Eileen was a weaver of cotton textile. She loved ballroom dancing, choral concerts, and musicals; she was a good singer who performed at informal social events. She also helped with social events, was involved in her church, and liked knitting. Eileen was an active member of St James the Less, an hon life member, and was previously in the committee of Haslingden Davitt IDL Club. Wife of the late Fred Marsh, who died June 2018, she leaves many nieces and nephews, and was a good neighbour and a loyal friend to many. The funeral was due to be held on Thursday, November 26, 1.15pm at St James the Less Rawtenstall, and Burnley Crematorium. Donations if desired to Eileen’s Church charities or Rossendale Hospice. The family would wish to thank those who cared for Eileen in the last months; emergency and health professionals, and the caring staff at Hillview.
