SandraMARSHSandra passed away peacefully on June 20th, in Royal Blackburn Hospital, with her husband, Alex, brother Eddie and sister Donna by her side. At the age of 73, she will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Neil, James and Robert, their partners, Julie and Liz, and grandsons, Joshua, Joseph and Lumin. She will be missed by friends and relations near and far. Sandra and Alex married in August 1971 and started teaching near Liverpool. They moved to Rossendale in 1972 and settled. Sandra taught in a number of Bury schools until she took a post at Tor View Special school, were she had a long rewarding career. In her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, reading, travelling to new places and spending time with friends. Her funeral will be at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday, July 11th, at 1 pm, then afterwards at Park Farm Tearooms from 2:15 pm Sandra asked that people attending should wear colourful clothing - No black.
