JonathanMARSHALLPassed away on 9th January 2020 at home surrounded by his family, aged 89 years. Formerly of Merchant Navy, H.M. Dockyard and Stafford Miller. Devoted husband of Lillian (Dar). Darling dad of Linda, Janet, Tina, Jonathan and Patricia. Father-in-law of Mike, Paul, Anke and Dave. Loving grandad to 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. A lonely heartache no one can heal, beautiful memories no one can steal. By the gates of heaven my husband stands, and one day he will take my hands. Love you Dar. Tired and weary, he made no fuss, he tried so hard to stay with us. And though we prayed that he would stay, we knew he had to go away. Goodnight our darling Dad. Though the family chain is broken and nothing seems the same. God will call us one by one and the chain will link again. Sleep tight Grandad. Funeral service will be held at Weston Mill Crematorium on Thursday 30th January at 10.45am. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, made payable to St Luke's Hospice may be left as a retiring collection, online at wcpltd.com or sent to Walter C. Parson Crownhill, PL6 5DY Tel: 01752 767676

My World has been blown apart Dad, it’s been nearly three weeks since you fell asleep and my heart is just in pieces. I can't express how much I miss you. Everyday is such and effort but I’m trying to be brave for you 💔💔😭😭

Dad what can I say my heart is broken I had you for 63 years. I know you had to go but you waited for me to come home to say my goodbyes. It's hard Dad to know I wont ever see or hear you again. Life will go on but it wont be the same because you will be more then a phone call away. Sleep tight until we meet again your little bird. Janet. Xxx
