Mum,
You’ve always been there for me, Claire, Dad & anyone else who needed you.

You were there for us through the good decisions, the bad decisions, the bruises and the broken bones (mostly mine!), the marriages, the births, divorces and when we had to make life’s tough calls.

I’m grateful that you got to meet Lisa and her family and know that I’m in good hands, despite being on the other side of the world!

Thank you for everything you have ever done for me. You were my voice of reason, annoyingly right about everything (even though I didn’t listen!) and without a doubt, my No 1 fan!

I wish so much that I could have told you how proud I am to say that you are my mum, and the best nanny too!

I love you more than you ever knew,

Matt
(Sorry, I meant Matthew!)

Thank you so much for everything you’ve given me - you opened your heart and your home to me over the years, and treated me like a member of the family since the day I met you. I learned from you that family isn’t anything to do with blood, it’s about people who love you, people who are there for you when it matters, who cheer every success and commiserate every sadness. I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to tell you how much you mean to me, I just hope that somehow maybe you knew. Thank you for absolutely everything.

Aunty Von, there aren't enough words to describe how much I'll miss you. I've been so lucky to have you as my "second mum". You've helped raise me, shape me as a person and a mother and generally been a constant source of sense and reasoning in my life. Your home has always been my home, from days off sick from school or weekend afternoons that turned to evenings, it's one of my safe spaces, because of you and Uncle Peter. Memories of sitting at your dressing table and playing with your makeup and trying on your jewellery and then as I got older, raiding your wardrobe will be with me forever! I promise I will continue to turn up and raid the chocolate basket though, to stop Uncle Peter eating it all. I'll never stop missing you, but I'm thankful that you're at peace now and for all of the wonderful memories you've given me. Goodnight to best Godmother I could have ever wished for. Love you Aunty Von, Rach xxxxx
