Thomas JeffreyMARSHALLJeff passed away peacefully on Thursday 7th December 2023 in Scunthorpe at the age of 88. Much loved partner of Marion, devoted dad of Jeff, loving father-in-law of Eileen, cherished grandad of John and Eileen, and Uncle and friend to many who will be sadly missed. Jeff was the son of Francis and Ida Marshall and grew up on High Street, Ashby. He was the youngest of ten Marshall children. Nellie Clark (Ernie), Edith Scarr (Ted), George Marshall (Alice), Frank Marshall (Vinnie), Ida Aitkin (Jimmy), Bill Marshall (Phyllis), Brenda Woodward (Norman), Jack Marshall (Iris), and Norman Marshall (Audrey). A private family committal will be held on Friday prior to a Remembrance Service to celebrate Jeff's life. The service will be held at Ashby Wesley Methodist Church on Saturday 23rd December at 10am.
