NeilMARTIN(Westerhope). Formerly of Benwell. Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on 28th June aged 78 years. Neil owner of Deneside Service Station and former owner of Stamfordham Road Garage. Beloved Partner of Kate. Dearly loved Dad of Amanda. Also a much loved Brother and Uncle. Neil will be very dearly missed by all family, friends, Colleagues and Customers. Friends please meet for service to celebrate Neil's life at the West Road Cemetery Chapel on Thursday 20th July at 11.15am sharp (he was a stickler for time) followed by Interment in the West Road Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to COPD Foundation. All welcome back to the Juve Lounge for refreshments. Truly saddened to learn today that Neil had passed away. He was a lovely bloke and I thought a lot of him. He was my mechanic of choice for over 35 years and my late Dad used him before that.
My sincerest condolences to Neil`s nearest and dearest and to the team at Deneside. R.I.P

So sorry to hear of Neils passing. He looked after all the “Hudson Family” cars at both Stamfordham Road and Deneside. A true gent, so hardworking and trustworthy. Sending heartfelt thoughts to his family and friends.
