The obituary notice of Irene MARTIN (Windy Nook)

In loving memory of my Aunty Irene,

Though distance separated us, each visit from Aunty Irene was a cherished gift. Her warmth, wisdom, and infectious humour filled our home with joy and taught me invaluable life lessons. She was a headstrong, kind and generous woman who had a unique way of connecting with everyone around her.

We recently reconnected, and I am grateful we did, even though it was for a short time, as it reminded me of the wonderful moments we shared. Aunty Irene was not just my mother’s best friend; she was a vital link to my English roots, her spirit will forever resonate in our hearts.

Heartbroken I can't make it to the funeral due to health reasons, nevertheless, Kurt, Jemma, and I will miss her deeply, and we will carry her lessons and love with us always.
