SusanMARTYNSadly we announce, Susan passed away peacefully surrounded by family on the 14th January 2026, aged 76 years.

A service to celebrate the life of Susan will take place at the Grimsby Crematorium on Monday 16th February 2026 at 11.15am

Family flowers only at family request but if so desired donations will be gratefully received and can be made to Cancer Research UK.

Very saddened to hear this news.
Miss Martyn was a brilliant headteacher of Welholme Infants School when I attended in the 90's. She is absolutely unforgettable - infact I was speaking about her only the other day to my own children.
Such a warm and personable lady.
I'm still sorry for setting the fire alarm off, Miss. Forever proud to have been one of your 'scallywags'.
